Child Counselling
In-person and online counselling sessions specifically for children to help them through challenges and develop coping strategies.
As parents, we always want our children to feel able to open up to us so we can help them feel better. But sometimes children don’t fully understand what they’re feeling, why they’re feeling that way, or why they’re behaving as they are. Counselling can give them the space to work with a professional who can help them make sense of what’s going on and support them in finding ways to improve their wellbeing.

It can also help them learn how to communicate their needs and feelings to their caregivers, and empower them to see that they have the ability to help themselves. This is done through Person-centred talking therapy, sometimes combined with aspects of play therapy to help them express themselves or understand things more clearly, as well as CBT tools to give them practical ways to manage big feelings such as anxiety or anger, and to help them shift unhelpful ways of thinking.

"She's actually in a good place now. You've worked wonders with her confidence and ability to cope when things don't work out as planned and, for that, her dad and I will always be thankful" - From the parent of a 14 year old girl I worked with.
