Life's challenges are easier to navigate when we face them together.
About The Village Therapies
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we believe that community is just as important for adults as it is for children. A strong community enriches our lives and helps us face challenges together. The Village Therapies offers a trusted support system to help you grow, adapt, and navigate life’s changes. Whether you’re facing challenges or seeking to evolve, we provide one-on-one support, group sessions, and events designed to guide you along the way. You’re not alone.

I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor with experience supporting both adults and children. I hold a degree in Advice, Guidance, and Counselling, a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and additional qualifications in counselling for children and grief support. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My professional background includes working in children’s care homes, secondary schools with students and teachers, sixth forms, and various charities, as well as providing online counselling to adults across the UK. I have worked with individuals facing issues such as anxiety, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, self-harm, bereavement, and trauma.

I am passionate about understanding people and helping them understand themselves. Sometimes, this is achieved by providing the right environment where they feel safe enough to explore what’s really going on for them, allowing them to release and process emotions and experiences. At other times, it’s through psychoeducation, such as learning about anxiety or attachment styles.

My aim is to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and work towards meaningful change.

Groups and Events
Support groups for people facing the same challenges provide a safe space to share experiences and feelings. They create a sense of community, helping individuals realise they're not alone in their struggles. People can exchange advice, coping strategies, and encouragement, which can boost emotional well-being and resilience. Our events will give people a chance to learn new skills, practice self-care, and meet others with similar interests.

Online Counselling
Online counselling is convenient and accessible, letting people get support from home without travel issues. To fully benefit from the experience, it's recommended to find a completely private space for your sessions.

NADA Ear Acupuncture
The NADA treatment involves gently placing up to five sterilised needles in specific points in the outer ear which can promote relaxation and reduce anxiety. These points may help with issues like fear, aggression, and grief. The treatment sends signals to the brain that release endorphins, which can lower stress. Developed in the 1970s for addiction recovery, NADA has also been used for various conditions and trauma recovery by groups like Acupuncturists Without Borders.
